Değerli öğrencilerimiz,

Bölümümüz 2016 yılından itibaren %30 İngilizce müfredata geçmiştir. Hazırlık sınıfını başarıyla tamamlayan öğrenciler 4 yıllık Lisans öğrenimine başlarlar. Lisans öğrenimi boyunca en az 151 kredi (240 AKTS) ders alınması gerekir. Dersler zorunlu ve seçmeli olarak iki kısma ayrılmıştır ve bazı derslerin alınabilmesi için ön şart bulunmaktadır.

Önemli Uyarılar:

  1. Ön şartlı dersler nedeniyle öğrencilerimizin yönetmeliğe uygun olarak not ortalamalarının 1.8'in üzerinde olması ve buna bağlı olarak da dönem tekrarı yapmamaları yararlarına olacaktır. Aksi halde ön şartlı dersleri normal sürelerinde alamama ve mezuniyetlerinin uzaması olasılığı ile karşı karşıya kalabilirler.
  2. Kamp ve Kurum stajlarının yapılabilmesi için ön şartlı derslerin alınmış olunması gereklidir.
  3. 2020-2021 Eğitim-Öğretim yılı 4.yarıyıl  ders planına "O" Grubu olarak yeni eklenen/açılan  seçmeli ders "Kariyer Planlama" isimli dersin KREDİSİ MEZUNİYET KREDİSİNE EKLENMEYECEKTİR.

İstanbul Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Jeofizik Mühendisliği Bölümü Sismik Veri İşlem Laboratuvarı Türkiye Petrolleri destekli olarak çok kanallı sismik yansıma verileri, yandan tarama sonar verileri, CHIRP mühendislik sismiği verileri ve çok-ışınlı (multibeam) batimetri verilerinin işlenmesi ve yorumlanması gibi amaçlar için 2017 yılında faaliyete geçmiştir.

Laboratuvarımız açılışına Fakülte Dekan Yardımcılarımız Sayın Prof. Dr. İsmail İNCİ ve Yrd. Doç. Dr. Muhammed Ali AYDIN’ın katılımlarının yanı sıra Jeoloji Mühendisliği Bölüm Başkanı Sayın Prof. Dr. Hayrettin KORAL, Bölüm Başkanımız Prof. Dr. Z. Mümtaz HİSARLI ve Fakülte Sekreteri Sayın Nusret SARISAKAL ve çok sayıda öğretim üyesi, araştırma görevlisi ve öğrenci katılım göstermiştir.

 2017 yılı itibari ile faaliyete giren laboratuvarımız denizde ve karada ölçülen sismik verilerin işlenmesi, analizi, değerlendirilmesi aşamalarında kullanılmaktadır.

Laboratuvarda, 

  • • PARADIGM ECHOS 2D-3D Veri İşlem Yazılımı,
    • Linux ve Windows işletim sistemli Pentium tabanlı bilgisayarlar,
    • Renkli tarayıcıbulunmaktadır. Laboratuvarda sığ ve derin kara ile deniz sismiği ölçümlerinden elde edilen verilerin en son tekniklerle değerlendirilmesi ve yorumlanması gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu laboratuvardaki alt yapıyla diğer jeofizik ve jeolojik verilerin değerlendirilmesi de yapılabilmektedir. Laboratuvarda kullanılan,Echos Sismik Veri İşlem Paketini ve Geodepth Migration and Velocity Modelling Veri İşlem Paketini ve de Promax Programlarını Bölümümüze armağan ettiklerinden dolayı EMERSON-PARADIGM VE SEİSSPACE PROMAX şirketlerine ve bölümümüze hardware desteğinde bulunan TÜRKİYE PETROLLERİ şirketine teşekkürlerimizi sunarız.
